Beech Road Park is an important local place for play, exercise, nature, relaxation and spending time with others.
Manchester City Council is beginning work to update the long-term plan for the park. This survey is the first step of that process. No decisions have been made and there are no final designs yet.
We want to hear from people of all ages, including children and young people, whether you use the park often, sometimes, or not at all.
Your feedback will help us:
- understand how the park and play facilities are currently used
- identify what works well and what could be improved
- understand the play needs of different ages and abilities
- set fair priorities for future investment
- explore ideas for play, natural play and informal sports activities
- support future funding applications
Funding has not yet been secured, so it may not be possible to deliver every suggestion. We will consider all feedback along with accessibility, safety, environmental impact, practicality, and available funding.
This consultation supports Manchester’s commitment to safe, clean, green and inclusive neighbourhoods and gives children and young people a meaningful say in the spaces that affect their lives.
